TAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF
We all need time to rest and recuperate. Set aside some time for yourself and allow your body to relax and release tension. This could be in the form of activities such as going to the gym for an hour, doing yoga or meditating, going for a walk or even sitting comfortably and reading a good book.
I like to relax by going to a yoga class or meditating at home and allowing my mind to process the events of the day. We are no good to anyone if we burn out!
DON’T OVERLOAD YOURSELF – LEARN TO SAY NO
Sometimes you have to say no because you can’t please everyone. If we were to say yes all of the time we would burn ourselves out. In business, your boundaries must be clear such as:- what you’re comfortable working on and what your working hours are so that people know that you are not available outside of those hours. Learn to say no to the people, situations and commitments that do not move you toward your goal, that distract you, or you simply do not enjoy.
